Picnic, Field and Facility Rentals / Reservations

The Recreation Department starts accepting Picnic and Field Reservations on March 1st each year. If March 1st falls on a weekend, reservations will start on the following Monday.

The Township requires groups of 15 or more to obtain a permit to use the picnic areas at Smith Field Park, Veterans Park, Volunteers Park, Knoll Park, Lake Parsippany Park and Lenni Lenape Park. Picnic areas usually open around May 1st. 

The Recreation Dept takes reservations for a variety of Township Facilities. If you would like to make a reservation please check out the reservation calendars located here and then email the Recreation Department, being sure to include all of the following information

• Full Name
• Company name (if applicable)
• Full Address
• Phone #
• Reason for rental - be as detailed as possible so we can accurately quote a fee.
• The number of people expected to attend
